This is the story how we delivered our Icareus Suite Webinar tool and tailored it to meet Bright’s workflow, added several new features for them and clipped hours from their event productions. We did all this together with our partner Maxicaster.

The Challenge
Bright had been using a leading online video platform, but its technical limitations and old fashioned user experience started to hinder Bright business vision. The search for new platform started and Bright wanted to find a modern, flexible and robust online video platform that could be tailored to their exact needs.
Finding the right product takes time
Bright wanted to be thorough in their selection process and wanted to test various platforms before committing to any. They collected information across border in their local organisations and identified the candidates and initiated the 3-6 months trial periods.

Icareus and Maxicaster have worked together on various online video projects over the years and were contacted by Bright to present a robust webcasting and webinar solution with flexible storage, transcoding and CDN solution. After initial discussion it was evident that a common goal could be reached and partnership started.

The Solution
For Bright Icareus Suite Webinar was integrated with Maxicaster’s delivery platform to achieve flexible streaming system that enable Bright to configure their live streaming parameters per event.
Whereas, Icareus Suite allow Bright to manage webcasting, recordings, subscribers, devices, services, user experience, advertising and monetization.
Icareus Suite Webinar solution, based on Icareus Suite cloud, is an easy-to-use, customizable and probably the most versatile solution in the market supporting both webinar and webcasting use cases.
With Icareus Suite Webinar it is easy arrange Live events on one or multiple different channels simultaneously, simulcast to own Responsive Web UI, Facebook and YouTube Live. It supports both automatic or manual event recordind, synchronization of presentation/slides and monetization of events with various business models.
Event recordings can be trimmed online, highlighted and published on video portals with other event videos and naturally, if wanted, all the on-demand content can be monetized again.
The Convenient and customizable responsive web interface offer a high user experience.
The results
After a rigorous testing phase Icareus, Maxicaster and Bright started workshopping and co-creation to configure Icareus Suite to meet Bright’s exact workflows and corporate customer requirements. The pre-production phase took 6 months to accomplish and the final product went to production early 2018. It now matches Bright production workflow, offers them intuitive yet flexible administrative user interface and tools to meet the various customisation needs faced from corporate customers.
Bright uses the solution as their only webinar tool to stream corporate events, product releases and financial reports of top customers such as Nokia, Mercedes Benz and Metso.
