Icareus Playout Empowers Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales in Optimizing EPG Workflows

Helsinki, 02.05,2024:  Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA), the Telefónica Group company specializing in broadcast audiovisual services and solutions, has decided to enhance their operations by renewing their legacy EPG platform with Icareus Playout. As the largest privately-owned satellite teleport in Spain, TSA recognized the need for a modern, flexible solution to elevate their workflows, operations, and ultimately, customer satisfaction. 

The existing PSI/SI and EPG platform, integral to TSA’s terrestrial broadcasting services, reached its end-of-life phase, necessitating an advanced replacement. After a meticulous selection process, TSA enlisted the expertise of Icareus and their Spanish partner, QinMedia, to orchestrate a seamless migration and implement an optimized EPG workflow. 

Collaboratively, QinMedia and Icareus took on the challenge, constructing integrated workflows for TSA’s operations team. This strategic approach empowers TSA to center their focus on nurturing customer success and to furher develop their operations.
